Active substances: Each capsule contains 2 mg loperamide hydrochloride.

Dosage
This medicine is intended for adults and children over 8 years of age.
The recommended dosage is:
Adults with acute (sudden) diarrhoea
Start with 2 capsules (4 mg) at once. Then take 1 capsule after each subsequent loose stool
(2 mg), as long as the diarrhea lasts. Never take more than 8 capsules (16 mg) in one day.
Adults with chronic (long-lasting) diarrhoea
Start with 2 capsules (4 mg) per day. This dose should be adjusted until you are 1 to 2 times a day
have solid stools. Usually this is achieved with 1 to 6 capsules (2 to 12 mg) per day. Take
never more than 8 capsules (16 mg) in one day.
Use in children
