The Accu-Chek Softclix lancets are used with the Accu-Chek Softclix lancing device. The lancets have a silicone layer that makes it easier to penetrate the skin. The special 3-plane grind ensures that enough blood is available to measure your blood glucose.

How do you use the Accu-Chek Softclix Lancing Device?
Set puncture depth
Using the front cap on the Accu-Chek Softclix, you can adjust the puncture depth to your personal skin thickness.
Take off cap
Remove the cap from the lancing device to insert the lancet.
Placing Lancet
Insert the lancet until it clicks clearly. Then unscrew the protective cap from the lancet and replace the cap of the Accu-Chek lancing device. Pay attention to the slit in the white edge of the cap. Make sure the notch points toward the center of the U-shaped recess on the lancing device.
tighten the lancing device
Press the button on the back of the lancing device to tighten the lancing device. You can check whether the lancing device is tightened: the shutter release button is now colored yellow.
prick blood
Before pricking, it is important that you wash your hands with warm water and then dry them well. For pricking, choose the side of a fingertip, preferably your ring or middle finger. Place the lancing device against your finger and press the yellow shutter release button.
Ejecting Lancet
To prevent infections and to continue pricking as painlessly as possible, we recommend using the lancet only once. After use, you can eject the lancet into a waste container. To do this, remove the front cap from the lancing device. By sliding the ejector mechanism forward, the used lancet falls out.
