Powerheart G5 electrode set is applicable for adults. These defibrillation electrodes can be used pre-connected. The positioning of the electrodes is indicated on both the packaging and the electrodes themselves. Place the electrodes at least 2.5cm away from an implemented device.

Shelf life of the G5 electrodes
Electrodes have a best before date in connection with the conductive gel which can dry out. These may not be used after the use-by date. Therefore, make sure that you have always connected an unopened set of electrodes, the expiration date of which has not yet expired. The Powerheart G5 electrodes have a shelf life of approximately two years. The expiration date can be found on a sticker that is stuck on the back of the packaging.
